India Brown poured a clear,
reddish brown color with a thumb width, off white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma had plenty of
malt, a hint of sweetness, some spices and a fair amount of hops. The body had some malt with a load of
hops leading to a fair amount of dryness, some cinnamon, and a very crisp mouthfeel. The finish lingered
with more dryness. This is a solid beer, an interesting take on the Brown Ale style, seemingly a crossed
with an IPA but a little more balance would make it a very good beer. The body was much hoppier then I
expected but this beer would be an idea pairing for baba ganoush.
