malt. The body was thin yet smooth, with more roasted malts and a dry middle. The finish is very mild with
a dry malty aftertaste lingering. Overall, this is a decent beer that would pair extremely well with smoked meats. Black
Lager is easy drinking and really nice up front. The finish is decent enough but nothing about this beer really
jumps out. Kudos to Saranac though for making a style rarely seen from American craft brewers.
