Kilt Tilter poured a dark brown color with a medium sized tan head that dissapated quickly. The nose was
very strong, sightly sweet with roasted malts had hints of oatmeal, chocolate and coffee on the nose. There is
roasted malt on the front palate and the result is a sugary middle palate. It is strong and rich, and has a
vevety mouthfeel to it. You can taste a hint of alcohol. The finish is not overwhelming at all. It
has a slight dryness to it underneath the malt. It is quite tasty and holds together nicely. This beer has the
big stout approach but is sort of light in the body. There is plenty of sweetness in there, almost bordering
on too much. The beer is a 90/- Scottish style ale that is very enjoyable. I would pick up a bomber of this, clear
out your afternoon, and enjoy.
