This beer poured a dark apple cider color
with a small off white head. The aroma had plenty of substance with hops, malt, a little wheat and just a bit of alcohol
smell. The body was heavy, with a little wheat, more hops, and some sweet malt. It was surprisingly smooth
for the high ABV and even had a light hint of citrus underneath. The finish was mild, nothing to write home
about and there was a small amount of sediment at the bottom of the glass. I believe this is the first double wheat
I have ever had and it was interesting. Worth a try but not Middle Ages best stuff.
