In
2005, Middle Ages produced a draft only, special release ale to comemorate their 10th anniversary. The beer was called
X and was a Double India Pale Ale. The beer was so popular that owner/head brewer Marc Rubenstein decided
to bottle the beer and to continue to produce a new beer each year for their anniversary. The following anniversary
beers were an Imperial Wheat for the 11th, an Imperial Porter for the 12th, a strong Imperial Wheat Ale for
their 13th, an English Brown Ale for their 14th. In celebration of their 15th anniversary this year, Middle Ages
is brewing Double Wench, an Imperial version of their American Strong Ale named Wailing Wench.
